We began our journey 10 years ago in Fredericton, NB. Along the way, we moved to the island of Grand Manan and have never looked back! Living and working on this beautiful island enriches our lives and our passion for building in a sustainable way! 

Aron and Gena co-founded Big Dog together in March, 2012. Aron is a Red Seal Carpenter (2002). Gena holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UNB (2006). Together they own and run the company as well as being a family together with all their fur-babies (2 dogs, 3 cats)

Pretty Good House is a framework for building and renovating homes in a higher performance manner. Considering the client's lifestyle, their wish-list, and budget are key as well as the environmental impacts of construction, sustainability and energy efficiency.
